We have big ideas, and we need your help!

At Project NEO, we have admittedly big ideas, and we need strong, committed partners to turn them into plans. The team's funding requirements are changing, and we need new sponsors at all levels so we can travel to competitions and compete with other elite teams. All New Mexico FRC teams compete as part of the FIRST in Texas (FIT) District. As a result, our closest event is typically over 400 miles away, incurring significant travel costs for the team. Project NEO has qualified for the FIT District Championship for the last several years, but has been unable to attend due to budgetary constraints.

Along with other New Mexico FRC teams, Project NEO is working to increase access to STEM experiences for New Mexico students. We are working to build FRC teams at as many Las Cruces high schools as possible while supporting efforts to host FRC competitions in New Mexico. We have a long-term goal of someday justifying a New Mexico FRC district. Only then will we be able to maximize New Mexico students' access to the unique STEM experiences that FIRST Robotics offers.
